One of nation’s fastest growing behavioral health care companies to adopt SAP

New Directions Behavioral Health, one of the nation’s fastest growing behavioral health care companies, has announced it will be adopting SAP’s technology. The organization helps over 13 million people live healthy, balanced lives through behavioral health services, employee assistance programs, and health coaching.

In a press release they announced a partnership with Phoenix Business, Inc. to plan and integrate the technology. New Directions had earlier been using utilizing Microsoft Dynamics SL, via its on-premise client server system. Phoenix will partner with New Directions Behavioral Health to implement SAP’s Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, SAP Business ByDesign, and SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning, taking a leap forward in SaaS technology in order to provide a positive ROI.

With SAP Analytics Cloud, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and real-time reporting will be enabled. Additionally, the ERP’s open architecture allowed them to easily integrate other internal systems.

Said Hanif Sarangi, President of Phoenix, “We are proud to have served as trusted advisors to New Directions on this project. With SAP Business ByDesign & Analytics Cloud, New Directions will enjoy significant increases in efficiency and ROI from SAP’s robust functionality.”

Founded in 1995, New Directions helps people live healthy, balanced lives. The healthcare company provides managed behavioral health services, an Employee Assistance Program, Student Assistance Program, organizational consulting, and health coaching to private and public health plans, Fortune 100 companies, large and medium employers, and labor groups.

The organization is accredited by NCQA as an MBHO and by URAC for health utilization management and case management.
