Crescite Partners With BitGo to Launch Catholic USD™, a Faith-Based Stablecoin for Global Institutions

Crescite Innovation Corporation, a technology company developing faith-based blockchain ecosystems for the global Catholic community, has announced a strategic collaboration with digital asset infrastructure provider BitGo to support the launch of Catholic USD™, a fully reserved stablecoin designed to serve Catholic institutions worldwide.

Catholic USD™ operates under a mission-driven economic model in which 100% of all on-chain yield generated by the system is distributed to support charitable works, humanitarian relief, education access, and mission-oriented initiatives across the global Catholic ecosystem. No on-chain yield will be retained as profit, positioning the financial architecture itself as an expression of the Church’s commitment to economic dignity and stewardship.

“Catholic USD™ leads first and foremost through mission,” said Eddie Cullen, CEO of Crescite Innovation Corporation. “Its economic design is rooted in the Economics of Mercy and guided by the moral vision articulated in Dilexi Te—He Loved Us, calling us to place love, dignity, and mercy at the center of economic life. By directing 100% of on-chain yield to serve the poor, Catholic USD™ transforms modern financial infrastructure into a living expression of that mission, delivered with institutional-grade security through our partnership with BitGo.”

The stablecoin is designed to function as a transparent and compliant digital financial rail for dioceses, parishes, universities, schools, religious orders, and charitable organizations. BitGo will serve as Crescite’s stablecoin infrastructure partner, providing issuance technology, regulated custody, and wallet infrastructure.

“We believe that Catholic USD™ represents a new benchmark for how digital assets should be deployed and utilized,” said Karl P. Kilb III, Chairman of Crescite. “Working with BitGo, the architecture of Catholic USD™ is designed to reflect the principles embodied in the GENIUS Act—prioritizing transparency, full reserve backing, and responsible stewardship—demonstrating that stablecoins can operate at global institutional scale while directing real economic value to those most in need.”

Crescite plans a global rollout in 2026, supported by a year-long engagement program that includes institutional events, regional luncheons, and on-the-ground visits aimed at onboarding Catholic institutions worldwide.
